I have been doing miniatures for about 35 years now. I love the hobby because it gives me a chance to create as well as to meet new and interesting people. I have made so many friends through miniatures and I hope to make many more.

This is an easy piece to knit and will add a touch of realism to any miniature scene.

You will need: 0000 Needles | Fine crochet thread or light weight yarn | Sample in Rose #20 crochet thread | Scissors

• Cast on 47 stitches (sts).

• Knit 5 rows.

Pattern rows:

• Row 1–K7, P3, * K3, P3 *, repeat from * to * across to last 7 sts. K7.

• Row 2–K4, P3, * K3, P3 *, repeat from * to * across to last 4 sts. K4.

• Row 3–Repeat row 1.

• Row 4 and 5–Repeat row 2.

• Row 6–Repeat row 1.

• Row 7–Repeat row 2.

• Row 8–Repeat row 1.

• Repeat pattern rows 1-8 until desired length. Usually 4” x 6” long.

• Knit 5 rows.

• Bind off.
